More Info

Many moons ago, I graduated from UCLA with a degree in Economics and pursued a career in the corporate world in HR and Client Services. I was successful, but as a home cook for almost 30 years, I grew to know that my heart and passion was in the kitchen. I used this love to cook meals for my husband and daughter, friends and family for a long time. I shopped for groceries, managed the pantry, prepared the food and household budget as well as meal planning and preparation ... all alongside commuting to a full-time job. Little did I know, those years were preparing me with the stamina, organization skills and intuition required for a culinary career. In October 2023 I enrolled as a culinary arts student, forging a new path for myself doing what I love. I’ve learned many new skills in the program and solidified my drive and ambition to become a chef. Now I have the chance to put my education and skills to work at the 2024 Cannes Film Festival in Nice, France. Your financial support would allow me to attend this prestigious event and learn from some of the best in the industry. Thank you in advance for your consideration.

Sincerely ~ Theresa Tice

More than just another boot camp, the exclusive Culinary Program is a targeted and hands-on approach to effectively presenting unique and stylish menu items to hundreds of daily visitors."
