I am so thrilled to introduce you to Altamart Buritaca 2024, an exciting cultural event that promises to transform this lovely place I get to call our Jungle Home. We want to help transform Buritaca, Colombia into a vibrant hub of creativity, art, music, workshops and community gathering this June 3-7!!!!
Not your ordinary art festival – it's an immersive experience that celebrates the essence of local and national artistic culture; igniting the imagination of everyone who attends.
We are on a mission to showcase a rich tapestry of Colombian art, music, and performances. From the vibrant hues of our street murals to the soul-stirring melodies of local and international musicians! –Every aspect of the AltaMart Festival is designed to captivate, inspire and integrate the local community of this little tropical paradise we love and care for so much.
Our vision is simple: we want to turn Buritaca into a living art piece! Through colorful murals that adorn the town's walls for the rest of the year, captivating performances that fill the air with energy, and interactive workshops that invite participation from anyone that wants to attend or participate. We aim at being inclusive and creating an atmosphere of inspiration, a harmonious community, and a collective for creative expression.
More than just a showcase of artistic talent – it's a celebration of community. By bringing together the local neighborhood and visitors alike; fostering connections, sparking creative conversations, and creating memories that will become a part of the future story if this beautiful village on the Caribbean Coast of Colombia.
We want you to participate and become a part of this project!
We will need your support to make this vision a reality. We have over 15 artists, musicians, and performers, ready to roll and paint the village with all the colors this June 3-7. We are all donating the art, the time and the efforts to make this happen annually.
With your kind support, we will be able to fund essential aspects of the project, from brushes, paint, and equipment rental to logistical expenses and promotional efforts. Meals and hydration for the artists, musicians performers, and volunteers.
Your donation will be directly supporting this local community project. Together we can paint a brighter future for Buritaca, Colombia!
