Support new teachers!

The Corps Member Financial Aid Fund is a partially alumni-sponsored fund that sustains the transitional grants and no-interest loans for new corps members. Teach For America has worked hard to increase the economic diversity of the corps. Last year, 58 percent of the corps received financial assistance – totaling $9 million dollars – and that number continues to grow each year. Transitional funding helps to pay for moving costs, a down payment for an apartment, travel to institute, and various professional necessities such as clothing, school supplies, and state exam costs.

Last year, alumni donated over $800,000 to Teach For America. Together, alumni of Teach For America have the power to raise well over $1 million dollars for the Corps Member Financial Aid Fund this year. Your contribution can help guarantee that we are providing the students we serve with as many excellent corps members as possible.
